HALEIWA, HI--(Marketwire - Jul 21, 2011) - In response to the increasing number of smaller, budget-minded destination weddings coming to Hawaii, Hawaiian Hospitality Group, Inc. (
The move enables Hawaiian Hospitality Group to grow despite the ongoing sluggish economy, which in many cases has changed the scale of destination weddings. According to a 2010 Honolulu Advertiser report, while Hawaii remains a top wedding destination, because of the slower-than-expected economic recovery, whether it's inviting fewer guests or making their own wedding invitations, many brides and grooms are choosing to go small for their big day. But, says Linda Kress, CEO of Hawaiian Hospitality Group, that fits nicely into her company's long-range plan. "With the new sites and services, we can now provide a spectacular venue that will fit within the budget and availability of any bride that calls us," she says.
Hawaiian Hospitality Group's flagship property, Loulu Palm Estate on Oahu's idyllic North Shore, remains a favorite. Fronted by a mile-long white sand beach, backed by majestic green mountains and featuring an historic plantation house and sweeping oceanfront lawn, since 2009 Loulu Palm Estate has remained the perfect spot to create the memories of a lifetime. For this reason, the site already has more than 100 event bookings for 2011 and is anticipating at least that for 2012.
With Hawaiian Hospitality Group's new array of venues, says Kress, "We shouldn't have to turn any bride and groom away."
