Environmental Construction Mat Company Named One Of America's Hottest Entrepreneurial Superstars

MADISON, MS, Sept. 9, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The provider of the most environmentally friendly heavy duty equipment mats on the market, New South Equipment Mats, has made Inc. Magazine’s  annual ranking of the top 500 fastest-growing privately held companies in the U.S.

CEO Drew St. John co-founded New South Equipment Mats in 2007 with the sole focus on access solutions in challenging environments. After four months of research it was clear that while numerous companies were selling hardwood mats nationally, there was not a company focused on minimal site impact with maximum engineering guidelines and efficiencies deployed.

This discovery led New South Equipment Mats to focus on providing accessibility through wetlands, waterways, marsh, swamp, and other sensitive grounds by using emtek® hardwood engineered laminated mats, SureTrak™ and TuffTrak® composite mats, as well as EarthSafe™ bridging solutions.

Four years after launching, New South Equipment Mats has completed projects nationally in 34 states, and has offices and project management centers in Mississippi, Florida, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Illinois, Texas and Vermont.

"The company’s success is credited to an outstanding team of professionals who possess a commitment to providing the highest standard of affordable access products, services and solutions, while being responsible to the environment" says St. John.
