The lenses were recalled in August due to unidentifiable residue that remains on the eye after the lenses are removed. Several Avaira Toric lens wearers have complained of blurry vision and some have even reported torn corneas. The lenses are manufactured by CooperVision Inc., a subsidiary of Cooper Companies, and are sold at various stores, including Costco, Wal-Mart and LensCrafters.
