Peoplefluent Appoints 20-Year HR Technology Veteran Laurence Kurzner as Vice President of Business Development

Former Mercer, Accenture and Aon Hewitt Executive Returns to Peoplefluent in Time of Significant Product Momentum to Accelerate Innovation to Market

RALEIGH, NC and WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwire - Dec 5, 2011) - With a strategic commitment to expand product and service offerings and customer reach, Peoplefluent™, one of the industry's leading Talent Management solutions providers, today announced the appointment of Laurence Kurzner as Vice President of Business Development. Kurzner returns to Peoplefluent having garnered significant experience from leading industry providers, including Mercer, Accenture and Aon Hewitt, among others. Located in the Company's Raleigh office, he will report to Isobel Harris, Senior Vice President of Account Management, Services and Support.

Charles Jones, Chairman and CEO of Peoplefluent, commented "I have had the pleasure of knowing Larry for several years and am extremely enthusiastic about this addition to the Peoplefluent management team. Larry's deep understanding of the Talent Management technology landscape and his breadth of relationships within the HCM marketplace are essential assets as we accelerate our market penetration to address the evolving requirements of our global customers. He has a tenacious drive and contagious energy, both of which will help propel our product vision and solutions in the market."

Kurzner, the newest addition to Peoplefluent's management team, joins the Company from Mercer, where he was a Principal and the Global Lead of Strategy and Business Development for Human Capital Connect within the company's $400 million Human Capital business. At Mercer, Kurzner helped to create new offering for the global marketplace in integrated Talent Management, which ultimately resulted in the selection of Peoplefluent's Talent Management product suite as Mercer's exclusive technology platform partner. Prior to his role at Mercer, Kurzner was Senior Vice President of Strategic Markets for Softscape (acquired by SumTotal Systems), where, reporting directly to the company's CEO, he created new markets and distribution partners and established a strong market presence and significantly expanded revenue-generating relationships for the business.

Before his role at Softscape, Kurzner was the Director of Global Business Development for Accenture Human Resources' outsourcing business. He also led sales, marketing and strategic planning for AON's HRO offerings (now AON Hewitt) as the Senior Vice President of their Marketing and Business Development initiatives, and he helped build Mellon's $1.2 billion human resources services business as a Principal and National Director of HRO Strategy for Mellon Human Resources & Investor Solutions. Prior to his move into the outsourcing technology side of the marketplace, Kurzner was a founding member of Peoplefluent's first acquisition and foundation technology, Authoria, Inc.

Kurzner has rowed competitively since attending Clark University, from which he earned a bachelor's degree in International Relations and Political Science. He also holds an MBA from Northeastern University.

"With this move, I am coming back to a team and a technology that I know extremely well -- and one that inspired my deep interest in this industry more than a decade ago. The innovation delivered by Peoplefluent -- with its newest mobile strategy and a powerful analytics platform -- in the last year alone is truly impressive, and I am eager to be a part of the team that will be driving exciting change in the Talent Management marketplace, and for the many customers within it, in the years to come," said Kurzner.
