MacAulay-Brown Awarded $75 Million Contract by Air Force Special Operations Command to Provide Greater Situational Awareness to the Warfighter

DAYTON, Ohio, and SHALIMAR, Fla., Jan. 30, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading engineering and technical services company supporting the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community with over 2,000 employees worldwide, announced today that it has been awarded a three-year, $75 million Alliant contract by the United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) to support intelligence units at Hurlburt Field, Fla. and Cannon Air Force Base (AFB), N.M.

Under the terms of the task order, MacB intelligence and IT specialists will directly support the warfighter by providing planning, integration and the implementation of new and existing intelligence collection, exploitation, reporting, dissemination and evaluation capabilities. MacB was selected to support the AFSOC task order due to its superior management and technical approach that ensures mission continuity, improvements in efficiency and capability and a stable workforce dedicated to supporting 24x7 operations.

MacB has a long history partnering with AFSOC. The Company has provided AFSOC with Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support since 1996 and Joint Terminal Attack Control and Small Unmanned Aerial System (JTAC/SUAS) support since 2010. MacB will provide on-site support through its Mission System Group’s Operations & Logistics Division located in Shalimar, Fla.

In addition, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems is providing network and systems Multi-INT Analysis and Archive System (MAAS®) support.

According to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Alliant is the premier enterprise Governmentwide Access Contract (GWAC), providing flexible access to customized IT solutions from a large, diverse pool of industry partners. With a $50 billion program ceiling and a five-year base period with one five-year option, Alliant allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements. In its first two years, 29 federal agencies have awarded over $6 billion on Alliant.
