Planet Resource Recovery, Inc. Develops New PetroLuxus(TM) Derivative Product for Water -- AquaLuxus


HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - May 3, 2012) - Planet Resource Recovery, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PRRY) is pleased to announce the Company has developed a new product for the water industry derived from the PetroLuxus™ Technology Platform. The new product, AquaLuxus, is designed to remove heavy metals and contaminants from water so that industry may reuse the less contaminated water or render less toxic water for disposal, this is particularly important in the treatment of flowback and produced water. AquaLuxus is an Environmentally-friendly product.

Due to a rising demand from customers in the Oil & Gas industry requesting a solution to address their contaminated water requirements associated with their operations, Planet embarked on the new product development.

Under the guidance of our research staff, the Company developed AquaLuxus from the PetroLuxus Technology Platform utilizing similar chemistry that allows PetroLuxus products to interact and release hydrocarbons, AquaLuxus dislodges contaminants and sequesters heavy metal compounds, while still retaining the Environmentally-friendly components.

The Company has developed various formulations of AquaLuxus at our research facility. AquaLuxus is currently undergoing field testing and studies in several states.

The Company has filed an application with the US Patent Office for Trademark protection for AquaLuxus.
