International Datacasting Announces the Addition of Two New Members to its Management Team

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 11, 2012) - International Datacasting Corporation (TSX:IDC), a global leader in digital content distribution for the world's premiere broadcasters, today announces it has appointed Rick Clements to the position of Chief Financial Officer and has appointed Karlton Burn to the position of Managing Director, APAC.

Mr. Clements is a Chartered Accountant and has 30 years of experience in senior financial and operational roles with public and private companies in the technology sector. The scope of his experience covers a wide range of financial functions, including the build-out of robust financial and operational reporting systems; improving financial and operational performance, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Clements was Chief Financial Officer at FanVision Entertainment and Kangaroo Media. Over the years, he has held senior finance and operational roles at Klocwork, Versatel Networks, InBusiness Solutions, OpenText Corporation and Fulcrum.

Mr. Burn is joining the company as Managing Director, APAC and comes from the Grass Valley Group, where he held the position of General Manager Sales - APAC. Mr. Burn brings to the company over 20 years experience in the Asian market, where he has held key roles as Managing Director, APAC for Harris Broadcast Communications (formerly: Leitch Technology) and then as CEO of the China based company, Dayang Technology, in Beijing.
