Plano Chiropractor Revamps Website and Establishes New Social Media Presence

PLANO, Texas, May 13, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Plano chiropractor Dr. Iohann Gonzalez, who runs A.K. Chiropractic, has announced that the clinic's website has been completely redesigned. Dr. Gonzalez said the redesign also includes links to the clinic's new social media pages. He further stated that a large health article library and other interactive features, such as exercise videos and a 3D Spine Simulator, have been added to educate people about spinal health. Dr. Gonzalez hopes the new website and presence on Facebook and Twitter will increase the level of interactivity between him and his patients and people who are curious to learn more about his treatments.

Dr. Gonzalez said he is thrilled with the redesigned website. "The website for our Plano chiropractic care center is now loaded with informative articles about all of the conditions we treat, about our nutrition and diet for weight loss program, and about how Applied Kinesiology works and more. All visitors can read our articles about back pain, our herniated disk treatment options and more under the Community Content Menu. Our current and new patients can register for free access to our exercise video collection, our newsletter and our wellness program in the Member Topics section. We are very eager to introduce the site to everyone because the more informed people are about their health, the better choices they can make."

Dr. Gonzalez said he is particularly excited for people to visit the 3D Spine Simulator, located under the Member Topics menu. The public can use this interactive interface to learn about spinal health. Dr. Gonzalez explained that this helps people to understand how posture and injuries affect different areas of the body, and how chiropractic spinal adjustments can improve their health.

According to Dr. Gonzalez, interactivity and communication are the other major goals of the new website and social media presence. They have added a blog to their website, where they will invite visitors to comment and ask questions about topics of concern to them. People can request and schedule appointments online, or simply send an email to request more information. Visitors to their Facebook page can get involved in discussions, as well as read and share frequent health-related posts with their friends.

Dr. Gonzalez hopes that patients and visitors will use the new website to stay healthy. "Our website and social media presence are new ways for us to keep encouraging and communicating with our patients. This is a way for us to extend our help to patients and the public, even when they are not here with us in the office."

Dr. Iohann F. Gonzalez became a chiropractor in 1998 and uses Applied Kinesiology techniques to diagnose and treat weaknesses in the body's musculoskeletal system. His website is http://akchiropractic.com.
