SEK has issued a 5-year bond for USD 1 billion. Despite turbulent market conditions, the bond was very well received and was subscribed by investors from all over the world. Over 60 investors participated in the transaction, which was oversubscribed. The majority of investors were from the US and Europe. The funding transaction was carried out together with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, HSBC, JP Morgan and Nomura. "We're very pleased with the transaction and the significant interest it attracted," said Richard Anund, Head of Funding at SEK. The money will be used in SEK's operations to support the Swedish export industry with financing.
