Bell Investment Advisors Sponsors Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir's International Choral Festival

OAKLAND, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 21, 2012) - Bell Investment Advisors was a major sponsor of the Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir's recent Golden Gate Choral Festival Grand Finale Concert, continuing the firm's long-standing tradition of community partnership between business and the arts. The prestigious July 14 concert in U.C. Berkeley's Zellerbach Hall featured a massed choir of 640 children from around the world.

The week-long choral festival, July 8-14, provided the opportunity for 19 choirs from 12 countries to perform and compete at venues across the Bay Area. The Grand Finale Concert concluded the festival and featured performances by 11 choirs from various countries, including the United States, Germany, Austria, China, the Republic of Georgia, and Lithuania. Choirs performing in the finale were mostly first place gold medal winners or selected by the jury to perform.

"This was a stunning, inspirational concert that should not be missed by anyone who loves music, kids, and the performing arts," said Founder/President Jim Bell. "100% of the three dozen clients we invited were blown away and wondered why they never had heard of this before. They all want to come back next year, not just for the brilliance of the music, but for the inspiration. It makes you feel as if all is well with the world, and the future is in good hands."

Every three years the Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir sponsors this festival. Visit the Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir website, http://www.piedmontchoirs.org/ for additional information.
