(www.beanitos.com), an Austin, Texas company that produces and distributes Beanitos brand bean chips -- great-tasting, natural, and healthful snack chips made from beans. OnTerra Systems developed the online product locator for Beanitos by using its Web-based store locator development platform, LocatorSavvy™ -- an affordable new platform that speeds the process of developing online store, business, or product locators for retail, hospitality, consumer products companies, and any business that needs to help customers find their nearest location or product either by desktop or mobile browser.

By using OnTerra Systems' LocatorSavvy™ store locator development accelerator, the OnTerra Systems development team brought a user-friendly and powerful new Web map product locator for Beanitos' mobile Web site live in less than a week.
Beanitos needed the locator to show customers the nearby stores where its products can be purchased, both via mobile as well as Web browsers. "With this new product locator for the mobile Web, we can show customers what stores carry our products, plus where our products are located in the store," said Doug Foreman, Beanitos' founder.
This is particularly helpful for consumer products that span multiple product genres, forcing customers to guess which department or aisle has the product they are seeking. "Beanitos chips are found in a variety of places within a store: the main chip aisle, the gluten-free section, or the natural products section," said Mr. Foreman. With the new mobile Web locator from OnTerra Systems, customers can locate the nearest stores that carry Beanitos chips, map the directions, check the "notes" section to pinpoint where the product is located within the store, and also access Web links to videos, coupons, and social media.
OnTerra Systems developed the mobile Web store locator for Beanitos, and then customized the look and feel of the locator to support the Beanitos brand. The product location data was uploaded and will be managed by Beanitos, and the information "lives" in the cloud -- a cost-effective way to obtain the processing power needed to run the product locator.
