Dress for Success Toronto Announces 2nd Annual Fundraising Gala "A Heel of a Good Time!"


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 28, 2012) - On October 25th, 2012 Dress for Success Toronto will present its annual fundraising gala and fashion show "A Heel of a Good Time!" in support of its mission to empower disadvantaged women as they journey from poverty to self-sufficiency. "A Heel of a Good Time!" is a celebration of hope, possibility, and success.

Inspired by the words of the immortal Marilyn Monroe, "Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world," "A Heel of a Good Time!" raises awareness of the challenges facing low income women and the role that fashion can play in helping women overcome the obstacles of unemployment. At this event, the fashion and corporate sectors come together to support the unique work of Dress for Success Toronto.

Dress for Success Toronto is delighted to welcome as Master of Ceremonies, Susie Sheffman, one of Canada's most influential Fashion Directors as she highlights 18 trends, as presented by eLUXE™, for the Fall and Winter season.

In addition to the fashion show, the gala ticket includes refreshments, hors d'ouevres, a Designer Marketplace, the opportunity to "Shop the Look" with fashions from the runway, some memorable moments by ;Calvin Klein and an exciting Diamond Dig!
