JSC „Latvijas balzams” is planning to commence export of Riga Black Balsam Currant to United States. „We have completed the registration procedures in US and looking forward to have the first shipment of Rīga Black Balsam Currant next week”, says Chairman of the company’s Board Guntis Aboltins – Abolins.
The Head of „Latvijas balzams” admits that Riga Black Balsam (RBB) is very popular in many export markets – it shows sustainable performance with trend to grow and new line extension - Riga Black Balsam Currant- will support the sales in export markets.
The total export volume of RBB and RBB Currant in 2011 reached 319 000 liters that is 31% of total Riga Black Balsam sales in 2011. Riga Black Balsam is exported to 22 markets.
JSC “Latvijas balzams” is one of the most significant exporters in Latvia – its products are available in more than 160 countries through SPI Group and in 30 countries through direct export.
