20,000 bopd threshold crossing in Gabon

In Gabon, the daily gross production threshold of 20,000 bopd was exceeded on 24 October 2012. On 30 June 2012 it had been 15,300 bopd. This improvement was mainly due to the connection of two of the four additional platforms to be provided during the second half of 2012 and as a result of the gradual commissioning of new wells.
The doubling of water injection capacity, the optimisation works relating to it and the use of new chemical products during well interventions should allow the Group to maintain its rate of increase of output which it has shown in recent months, into and throughout 2013.
