Lehigh Gas Partners LP Assesses Impact of Hurricane Sandy

ALLENTOWN, PA (November 5, 2012) - Lehigh Gas Partners LP (NYSE:LGP) announced today the impact of Hurricane Sandy which affected the Northeast early last week. In the aftermath of the storm, Lehigh Gas Partners has had access to fuel supply from its branded suppliers to keep its network operating. On occasion, increased demand has outpaced the ability of third-party carriers to deliver motor fuel timely, resulting in intermittent service interruptions at certain New Jersey sites supplied by the company.

"Our primary goal was to serve our customers safely," Joe Topper, CEO of Lehigh Gas Partners, said. Topper added, "Our branded suppliers have been very responsive in helping us meet our customers' fuel needs."

In the initial period after the storm, approximately 90 sites supplied by Lehigh Gas Partners lost electrical power and were not operating. At present, fewer than 20 sites supplied by the company remain without electrical power.

"We are grateful that no company employees or dealer operators of our sites were injured during the storm," Topper said. He also noted that only two sites experienced property damage which resulted in minimal damage and no fuel service disruption.

Lehigh Gas Partners is working closely with the New Jersey Department of Economic Development and its branded fuel partners to secure generators that will restore power to downed sites located in the state.

"We have put our team on this," Topper said. "Our team's early preparedness and quick on-the-ground effort has been a key factor in getting stations up-and-running so we can meet the fuel needs of our customers."
