DAYTON, Ohio, Dec. 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company providing innovative engineering and technical solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that it has been awarded a Task Order (TO) by the United States Army (USA) Institute of Surgical Research (ISR) to support its Combat Casualty Care mission. The award falls under the USA Medical Research & Materiel Command (USAMRMC) Indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract.
Under the terms of the TO, MacB will provide technical expertise to help design clinical systems for data integration and application development. The focus of the implementation will increase the functionality of USAISR's clinical decision support systems for Intensive Care Units (ICUs). Once implemented, USAISR personnel will be able to better assess, diagnose and care for critical care patients.

The USAMRMC IDIQ contract is utilized to provide administrative, scientific, information technology, medical logistics, medical technology management and program management services for USAMRMC HQ and the various subordinate commands. As prime contractor, MacB has been awarded over 30 relevant TOs in the functional areas of medical training, medical logistics, health information technology, scientific management, health technology development and program management.
