Petroleum Geo-Services ASA :Add on to 300 million Senior Notes completed


Lysaker, Norway, December 19, 2012 : Petroleum Geo-Services ASA ("PGS") today announces the pricing of $150 million aggregate principal amount of its 7.375% senior notes due 2018 (the "Notes") to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act"), and in offshore transactions in reliance on Regulation S under the Securities Act. The 7.375% Senior Notes will be sold at 107.500 of the aggregate principal amount plus accrued interest, if any, from December 15, 2012. PGS expects to use the net proceeds of the current Notes offering for general corporate purposes. On November 9, 2011, PGS priced an offering of $300 million aggregate principal amount of its 7.375% senior notes due 2018. The Notes and the notes originally issued in November 2011 will be treated as a single class of debt securities under the same indenture.
