Fuel Freedom Foundation Hosts Its 2nd Annual Gala September 28, 2013 in Newport Coast, California

Leading Experts and Supporters Join the Fight for Competition in the Fuel Market at Annual Gala

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 11, 2013) - Fuel Freedom Foundation is hosting its 2nd Annual Gala, on Sept. 28, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. The event will be held at the home of co-founder Eyal Aronoff. The gala will bring together leading experts and supporters who share a commitment to opening the fuel market to competition.

Fuel Freedom Foundation is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking our oil addiction by removing barriers to competition, and promoting the development of cheaper, cleaner, American-made fuels. The foundation is working to reduce the cost of driving existing cars and trucks by opening the market to cheaper fuel choices at the pump.

The evening will feature a sneak peak at the Fuel Freedom conversion vehicles, a live auction, and, of course, excellent food and live music. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with distinguished guests including John Hofmeister, former CEO of Shell Oil; Carl Pope, former executive director of the Sierra Club; Honorable Bill Richardson, former Governor of New Mexico and U.S. Secretary of Energy; and Jim Woolsey, former Director of the CIA.

"Cheaper, cleaner fuels such as ethanol, methanol and natural gas are available and can scale quickly once we open the distribution system to competition," said co-founder Yossie Hollander. "The combined effects of these replacement fuels will provide choice and drive down prices at the pump."

The 2012 inaugural event was attended by more than 500 supporters, who joined the fight to streamline regulations to allow competition and choice at the pump. This year's event promises to be an enchanting and informative evening featuring red carpet arrivals, sunset cocktails and a spectacular ocean view. The gala will include a brief speaking program that will review progress achieved over the past year and planned efforts for the foundation's future. Guests will have the opportunity to address questions with the Fuel Freedom Foundation board members throughout the evening.

"Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come," said co-founder Eyal Aronoff. "Achieving fuel freedom means accelerated economic growth, greater energy security, reduced air pollution, lower greenhouse gas emissions and improved health."

About Fuel Freedom: Fuel Freedom Foundation is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking our oil addiction by enabling the transportation fuels market to open so our cars and trucks can run on cheaper, cleaner, healthier American replacement fuels. Consumers could easily convert their cars to run on replacement fuels, but outdated regulations and entrenched commercial interests stand in the way. The Fuel Freedom campaign aims to remove barriers to competition so that natural gas, methanol, ethanol and electricity can compete on equal footing with gasoline at the pump and at the dealership. Achieving Fuel Freedom will lower fuel prices, create jobs, spur economic growth, reduce pollution, and improve national and global security. For more information visit us at www.fuelfreedom.org.
