PARIS, Texas, Sept. 16, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Please join Liberty National Bank in Paris, First Federal Community Bank, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) as they present $20,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to New Hope Center of Paris, Texas.
New Hope Center of Paris will use the funds to purchase kitchen appliances and items for laundry facilities at a new shelter site in Paris. New Hope Center of Paris provides low-income housing, food, and other support services to women and children recovering from homelessness.
FHLB Dallas awarded $225,000 in grants through its PGP this year. The grants provide funding for the operational needs of community-based organizations involved in affordable housing and community development.
