HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Jan 9, 2014) - Energistics, the upstream oil and gas standards consortium, announced today that Jana E. Schey has been appointed Vice President, Operations; she assumed her new duties on January 1, 2014. In her new role, Ms. Schey will now lead Energetics' effort to achieve Certified Standards Development Organization (SDO) status with selected global standards bodies and will continue responsibility for standards development facilitation, volunteer coordination and documentation.
Ms. Schey previously held the Senior Director, Operations and Director, Project Planning & Management positions at Energistics.

Ms. Schey has worked in the oil and gas industry for 13 years. Prior to Energistics, she worked with eProcurement standards (particularly with PIDX) and catalog management. Ms. Schey also has experience in the telecommunications industry in the areas of HSE, corporate security and data exchange/systems integration. She holds a MA degree from the State University of New York - Brockport and a BA degree from Queen's University, Ontario, Canada.
