PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RRY Publications LLC today announced that the use of stem cell therapies in 2013 cleared $250 million representing a 30% increase over 2012 shipments and a new record. Said Robin Young, stem cell industry analyst and host of the New York meeting: "The range and scope of stem cell therapeutic use in the United States continues to grow and evolve and now encompasses a number of new indications. Virtually all of the increases we're seeing are for adult stem cell therapies and, in particular, the use by physicians of both allograft and autologous stem cell products."
Mr. Young's revised forecast of stem cell commercialization revenues for 2014-2024 will be presented at the February meeting in New York.
