LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Mar 7, 2014) - Reliance Globalcom today announced the appointment of Rory Cole as Chief Financial Officer of its three offshore businesses, comprising FLAG, Yipes and Vanco.
Mr. Cole will have overall responsibility for global finance including management, planning and strategic initiatives. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer of Reliance Globalcom's Data and Voice business units focused on providing services to Carriers and ISPs globally.

With solid experience in complex corporate and financial restructurings, Mr. Cole was previously Chief Financial Officer of EMEA, MCI, a division of the former MCI/Worldcom business worth an estimated US$3.5 Bn. He also played a major role in Verizon's acquisition of MCI where he was the Chief Operating Officer for Verizon Business' International business unit. This unit operated in 85 countries and had annual turnover of US$4.5 Bn.
Mr. Cole holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Computer Science from Ohio State University.
