Verna Kay Joins ExcelAire as Vice President of Marketing and Administration

Ms. Kay will be responsible for the operations, human resources and marketing efforts of ExcelAire's charter and aircraft management business. Ms. Kay has more than 25 years experience in the aviation industry, with American Airlines, Jet Blue and CLEAR. Before joining ExcelAire, she was Director Human Resources for CLEAR (known as the Easy-Pass of airport security), where she developed and oversaw all human resources systems and processes. At Jet Blue, she served as Director of Recruitment during the rapid-growth years with specific responsibility for pilot hiring. She spent 20 years at American Airlines, starting out with the company as a flight attendant in Chicago, and among her many jobs and promotions, she most recently served as JFK Base Manager, Flight Service.
