ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 3, 2014) - Greengro Technologies (
The company has all of the infrastructure in place in Lincoln Hills to begin a first phase of a full grow cycle production September 1. This test run will utilize approximately half of the total greenhouse capacity with the remaining space coming online after an initial 60 day trial period.
Another distinct advantage of Lincoln is the existence of onsite wells and a natural underground spring that will supply water for the project year round. As part of the agreement with the land owner the company has secured exclusive water rights. This underground natural spring will form the bases of the projects fishery and full aquaponics grow systems.
BP Gardens Buena Park has secured the initial seed funding to begin production by August 1. The company will begin with seedling production for its vertical systems followed shortly by fully hydroponic solutions upon securing final design approval from Southern California Edison on September 1. Once this approval is secured full production for commercial sales will begin in earnest.
"We are excited and encouraged by our progress on both project sites. Even though we still await regulatory approvals we are now in a position to move both projects into full production and both should be cashflow positive over the next quarter," states James Haas, CEO.
