MacAulay-Brown, Inc. Appoints Industry Veteran to Lead Business Development for its National Security Group

DAYTON, Ohio, Aug. 20, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Special Operations Forces, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that Tom Crawford has joined the company as Senior Director and will lead Business Development efforts for MacB's National Security Group. Crawford will report directly to Mark Chadason, Senior Vice President and General Manager of MacB's National Security Group.

Crawford brings more than 25 years of government, military and commercial expertise in business development, operations, IT, science and cybersecurity experience to MacB. In his new role, Crawford will be responsible for strengthening the company's presence throughout the Intelligence Community (IC). In addition, he will work with the senior leadership team to increase strategic new business opportunities and cultivate critical relationships with key customers and industry partners.

About Tom Crawford 

Prior to joining MacB, Crawford was Director of Business Development for BAE Systems, Inc. At the company, he managed a $500 million pipeline, helping to win a $5 billion Indefinite-delivery/Indefinite-quantity (IDIQ). He also worked closely with customers to increase value with Department of Defense and IC customers. Before joining BAE Systems, Crawford held senior level business operations positions at SpecTal and General Dynamics. In a commercial role, he managed the design and implementation of non-GPS tracking systems for commercial satellite operators. In a previous leadership position, Crawford designed and developed a world-wide organizational messaging system for an IC customer. He served more than six years in the Central Intelligence Agency as a systems programmer and applications developer. Crawford holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Science degree in Management from George Mason University, Fairfax, Va.
