Edward Searle Promoted as Vice President for International Rail and Transit


MORRISTOWN, N.J., Sept. 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Edward Searle has been promoted to vice president in charge of international rail and transit. In this role, Searle will provide strategic direction for Louis Berger's rail and transit practice across its international operating company.

Since joining Louis Berger in June 2013 as the international director for rail and transit, Searle has demonstrated exemplary leadership for flagship transit programs with the company and has served as a key member both of the International management team and the global rail and transit sector team. During the past year, Searle has led the company's efforts on the Doha Metro program, supporting our Qatar Rail client and building relationships with key stakeholders, partners and establishing a strong team to deliver on Qatar Rail's program. Searle's focus will continue to be on the delivery of the Doha Metro program where his role will be expanded to provide guidance and coordination across the Louis Berger–Egis Rail Joint Venture's four packages.

Searle is a Chartered Civil Engineer with more than 30 years design, project management and business leadership experience in the rail and transit market supervising large-scale and highly-complex programs around the globe. He has worked on signature rail and transit projects throughout the United Kingdom, the Middle East, Asia and Europe. Prior to joining Louis Berger, Searle served as the Europe rail and transit director at AECOM and as an international project director at Jacobs Engineering.

Searle earned his Bachelors in Civil Engineering from the University of Birmingham and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Ashridge Management College.
