DEAG: Surge in growth through massive entry into the rock festival market

  - Rock festivals 2015 at Nürburgring, the Munich Olympic Stadium, the
Danube Island in Vienna and in Switzerland

  - Milestone for organic growth

  - More than 350,000 additional festival tickets per year expected

Berlin, November 5, 2014 - DEAG Deutsche Entertainment Aktiengesellschaft
("DEAG"), Berlin, (ISIN DE000A0Z23G6) benefits from an organic surge in
growth through the massive stepping up of its festival activities.

Mega events at Nürburgring, in Munich, Vienna and in Switzerland are likely
to generate incremental profitable sales revenues in the amount of more
than EUR 30 million in 2015. It is planned to stage the festivals every
year. The advance ticket sale for the rock festivals will start this week;
the expected ticket volume amounts to more than 350,000 tickets, which will
be sold to the visitors primarily through the preferred distribution
channels of DEAG, such as Ticketmaster Germany.

"Der Ring - Grüne Hölle Rock" (The Ring - Green Hell Rock, May 29 to 31,
2015 at Nürburgring), "Rockavaria" (May 29 to 31, 2015 at the Olympiapark
Munich), "Rock in Vienna" (June 4 to 6, 2015 Danube Island Vienna) are the
names of the new mega festivals by DEAG. They are supplemented by the
already existing festival "Rock the Ring" (June 19 to 21, 2015 in Hinwil -
Switzerland). "Rock the Ring" headliners are Nightwish, Toto, Alice Cooper
and Judas Priest amongst others. Tickets for the Swiss festival are on sale
as of today.

The success drivers for the festivals of DEAG are attractive venues in
conjunction with outstanding artists, so that unique events are created.
Global mega stars such as METALLICA, MUSE and KISS will fire up the rock
fans. Apart from these headliners, top acts such as Faith No More, Incubus,
Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Exodus, Five Finger Death Punch and many more
will put their mark in the 2015 events.

Many of the mega stars will perform at several DEAG festivals, so that DEAG
can fully leverage its international clout. For the concept and the
implementation of the festivals, DEAG relies on the artist network, the
market positioning and expert knowhow of many of its affiliated companies,
such as KILIMANJARO LIVE and WIZARD PROMOTIONS. These mega festivals are,
therefore, examples which illustrate the possible synergies within the
Group.

The consistent expansion of the festival activities of DEAG is embedded in
the dynamic organic growth strategy in the open air segment. DEAG will sell
altogether around 700,000 to 800,000 tickets for festivals and outdoor
shows in 2015, including large-scale concerts by Die Toten Hosen in
Switzerland.
