Intelligent Product Solutions TM (IPS) Launches "Kickbox" Program in Partnership With Indiegogo(R) to Assist Technology Startups

HAUPPAUGE, NY--(Marketwired - Jan 21, 2015) - Intelligent Product Solutions (IPS), a leading product design and development consultancy, today launched a new program for technology startup companies that provides mentorship, discounted design and engineering services and coaching on crowdfunding campaigns. Called Kickbox, the program was developed in partnership with Indiegogo®, the world's largest global fundraising site that makes any idea a reality through crowdfunding.

"Our new Kickbox program for startups is designed to fill the gap between seed funding and Series A, to help companies move product development to the next level -- applying our expertise in 'productizing' technologies and turning them into user-centric consumer and industrial products and applications," said Mitchell Maiman, President of Intelligent Product Solutions. "We will select startup companies for Kickbox, which is a 'startup in a box,' based on their ability to demonstrate viable, long-term product and business plans."

Once accepted into the Kickbox program, IPS will provide startups with help in creating impactful product proof-of-concepts and, if needed, in successfully implementing crowdfunding campaigns to raise money online, leveraging its expertise as an Indiegogo partner.

Startups will also be assigned an experienced IPS Product Development Mentor and will receive discounted design and engineering services. Additional services available as part of the program include: product requirements document development, feasibility studies and investor preparation assistance.

Applications for Kickbox are now available at www.intelligentproduct.solutions/kickbox, and IPS plans to make the program available to approximately 30 startup companies in the next six months. As part of the selection process, prospective Kickbox companies will be interviewed by an IPS executive.
