VIQ Solutions Announces Leadership Changes

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jan. 28, 2015) - VIQ Solutions Inc. ("VIQ Solutions" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:VQS) announces that effective February 1, 2015, and as previously announced, David Outhwaite will retire as Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation and Sebastian Paré will become the Corporation's President and Chief Executive Officer. Also effective that date, Mr. Outhwaite shall serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Paré shall become a director of the Corporation.

VIQ Solutions also announces that effective January 31, 2015 Karen Hersh will be retiring from her role as the Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation. Ms. Hersh will remain with the Corporation for a transition period through April 30, 2015. Ms. Hersh has been with the Corporation since its inception, serving as CFO, and has provided invaluable guidance and leadership during that time. The Board of Directors expresses their sincere gratitude to Ms. Hersh for her significant dedication and contributions to the Corporation and wishes her well in her future endeavours.
