In a comment on the first quarter, Bilia’s Managing Director Per Avander says:

“Demand was slightly better than expected due to a strong market situation in Sweden. We delivered an operating profit that was considerably better than last year. Both the Car Business and the Service Business reported better earnings. The order backlog of new cars increased sharply during the quarter and was more than 1,000 cars higher compared with last year. The financial position of the Group continues to be strong. Discontinuing of the operation in Denmark continues according to plan. The integration of our new Toyota operation in Norway has begun, and the operation reported good earnings for the month of March, which was gratifying. We believe that demand for cars and service during the second quarter of 2015 will be on a par with the same quarter last year.”
