Chiropractic Health Clinic Doctors to Attend Continuing Education Seminar

OMAHA, Neb., July 26, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Omaha chiropractors Dr. Mark Eiler, Dr. Justin Eiler and Dr. Andrea Eiler announced that they will be attending the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association conference from August 13-16, 2015. The conference will be held at the Embassy Suites La Vista in Omaha, NE. The conference focuses on continuing education for chiropractors, including the evaluation and treatment of running injuries and other sports injuries. The conference will also cover ICD-10, the 10th revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD), a medical classification list by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Medicare services.

Chiropractors at the Chiropractic Health Clinic in Omaha will be participating in the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association Conference with a special focus on enhancing the level of care they currently provide to patients.

"As graduates of Palmer College of Chiropractic, our entire chiropractic team understands the importance of continuing education to stay on top of the latest developments in drug-free pain management and injury rehabilitation," said Dr. Mark Eiler. "The annual Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association is an opportunity to re-connect with colleagues and discuss the latest developments in the growing field. Technology is truly transforming how we diagnose and treat our patients. That's why we are so passionate about continuing education as a way to provide the best possible care."

Dr. Mark Eiler, Dr. Justin Eiler and Dr. Andrea Eiler are currently offering a wide variety of chiropractic techniques for pain management. These techniques include the Distraction Technique, Gonstead Technique, Thompson Technique, Palmer Package Technique and Toggle Technique. The practice also offers cold laser therapy and spinal decompression therapy. According to the chiropractors, the practice is also one of the only Omaha chiropractic centers to offer the Tytronics adjustment system.

"Our treatment goal is to help patients heal as quickly and safely as possible following injury," said Dr. Justin Eiler. "Chiropractic adjustments are a critical part of this recovery process. However, we're not a one-size-fits-all practice. We understand that different injuries require different treatment techniques. That's why we're proud to offer a wide variety of treatment options and continue educating ourselves about emerging treatments and new options for managing injury pain."

The chiropractors say that this year's focus on running related injuries and other sports injuries will be especially beneficial for patients at the practice.

"During the warmer months, we see an uptick in sports-related injuries, including pain from running, for example," said Dr. Andrea Eiler. "Our focus with these injuries is to ensure the spine is correctly aligned and then take the appropriate steps for relieving pain. We also strive to reduce the risk for future injuries."
