KANSAS CITY, Kan., Sept. 22, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Epiq Systems (NASDAQ:EPIQ), a leading global provider of integrated technology solutions for the legal profession, today announced the appointment of Major Baisden to managing director of Epiq's Asia Pacific division and Sebastian Ko as director of document review services for Epiq in Hong Kong.
Baisden will continue in his current role as managing director of eDiscovery managed services as well as the new role leading the Asia Pacific division.

Major Baisden is the founder and president of Iris Data Services, the leader in eDiscovery managed services, which was acquired by Epiq Systems in April 2015. Founded in 2007, Iris Data Services was included in the 2011 Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. In his new role, Baisden will have executive oversight for Epiq's eDiscovery services in Asia. Epiq currently has offices in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
Sebastian Ko brings significant legal experience to his new role with Epiq. Prior to working with Epiq, Ko practiced law in an international law firm based in London and a U.S. Am Law 100 firm, where he assisted in international arbitration and litigation, as well as high-value, cross-border internal investigations and regulatory enforcements. As the director of Epiq's document review services in Asia, Ko will supervise Epiq's document review operations in Hong Kong. Epiq's Asia sector operates 40 document review seats in Hong Kong and 35 in Tokyo.
