As previously communicated, Nasdaq Nordic will relocate its primary LUNDA data center operated by Verizon west of Stockholm, to the VASBY data center operated by DigiPlex at their facilities in Upplands Väsby, north of Stockholm (http://www.digiplex.com/locations/stockholm).
The new Nasdaq location requires that all connections need to be redirected to the new address. Please make sure that you as client connecting to any Nasdaq services in Stockholm make your necessary arrangements with your connectivity provider to continue to ensure your connections to Nasdaq.
Time schedule
The primary data center relocation will be carried out using a phased approach. Estimated time schedule for the relocation is as follows:
- November-December 2015: The VASBY data center external IP prefixes will be published
- January 2016: General member connectivity guidelines per system will be published
- February 2016: Customers will be able to perform network connectivity tests to Nasdaq demarcation point in the VASBY data center. Customer access to the co-location area will be available. Start of communication of member specific connectivity details (when applicable)
- March-April 2016: Pre-Production systems will be available for customer testing in the VASBY data center
- April-May 2016: Mandatory customer testing
- June 2016: The last Production systems, INET (Trading for Nordic Cash Equities) and Genium INET (Trading and Clearing for Nordic Derivatives, Commodities and Fixed Income) will be promoted to be the primary Production systems in the VASBY data center. The systems in the LUNDA data center will be discontinued
All systems will be live in the new VASBY data center in conjunction with the Genium INET release on June 2016.
In conjunction with the relocation, Nasdaq will upgrade some of the systems. Communication for each system affected will be distributed separately via the usual channels.
