Al Roker, multi-Emmy Award winning host of "The Today Show" and New York Times best-selling author, will kick off the series on October 6 at New Jersey City University's Margaret Williams Theater. The series aims to inspire young people toward achieving their goals through the lived experiences of the most successful leaders in the entertainment, business, philanthropy, and literary industries. All live events are free to attend and open to the public.

All live events are free to attend and are open to the public. Each event will begin at 7:00 p.m. EST. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. EST.
All of the Society's 491 college and university campuses nationwide will be able to host a live stream of each speaker presentation and participate in a live conversation on Twitter and Facebook using the #theNSLS hashtag.

"The social media chats are a great element of the Speaker Series programming that gives students an opportunity to engage virtually with our speakers to gain advice and insights on the specific leadership challenges they face."
Students from select campuses will also be able to submit recorded video questions that will air during each broadcast.
The National Society of Leadership and Success Broadcast Speaker Series was established in 2001. It provides the Society chapters with live-streamed keynote presentations and live engagement via Facebook and Twitter with leaders, celebrities, and best-selling authors six times per year.
The Series is a key feature of the leadership program. It is the hallmark of the Society and provides students with actionable steps in leadership that help them transcend challenges, achieve personal and professional goals, and transition successfully from college to career.
