MI Healthy Mind TV Show to Talk About CEOs Overcoming Addiction on November 8

DETROIT, MI--(Marketwired - Nov 2, 2015) - What happens when a CEO or business owner falls victim to alcohol abuse or addiction? This will be the topic of discussion on November 8, 2015, on MI Healthy Mind, a 30-minute interview show on TV 20 Detroit that airs each Sunday at noon. Each week, the show hosts guests who work in the areas of mental health and recovery, as well as people who have endured and triumphed over abuse, addiction and other difficulties.

MI Healthy Mind hosts Elizabeth Atkins and Michael Hunter will interview Recovery Coach Therese Marie and Shannon Rozell of Solid Landings, a recovery treatment program, about the challenges business executives face when they fall victim to addiction and the ripple effects on their families, employees and the community-at-large.

Therese Marie, an executive coach with more than 20 years' experience in human resources, will share her personal story as a business owner and recovering alcoholic which led her to become a recovery coach for high level executives nationwide. A member of the National and Michigan Associations of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC, MAADAC), Therese Marie is a frequent speaker and author of issues related to recovery.

Also during Sunday's program, Shannon Rozell will talk about recovery treatment options available. Rozell is vice president of business development for Solid Landings Behavioral Health, a long-term addiction treatment program headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, with more than 50 locations across the country.

Rozell also serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. Her prior experience includes community outreach and manager of patient access for short-term treatment facilities for addiction and mental health in southeast Michigan.
