Leifheit AG: New Supervisory Board members appointed

  - Dr Robert Schuler-Voith and Dr Friedrich M. Thomée have resigned from
    the Supervisory Board

  - Sonja Wärntges and Ulli Gritzuhn have been appointed as new members of
    the panel

Nassau, 5 January 2016 - At the request of the Board of Management of
Leifheit AG, Mrs Sonja Wärntges (48) and Mr Ulli Gritzuhn (54) were
appointed to the Supervisory Board of Leifheit AG with effect from 4
January 2016 by the District Court of Montabaur. The appointments, which
were made in accordance with § 104 para. 1, German stock corporation act
(Aktiengesetz), became necessary at the end of 2015, when Dr Robert
Schuler-Voith (62) and Dr Friedrich M. Thomée (66) resigned from the
Supervisory Board at the due time.

The Supervisory Board and Board of Leifheit AG wish to thank the departing
Supervisory Board members for their many years of successful commitment to
the panel. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Helmut Zahn, offered
special thanks to Dr Schuler-Voith: "As a major shareholder and Supervisory
Board member, Dr Schuler-Voith has been actively involved in shaping the
strategic direction of Leifheit since 1992, thereby strengthening the
company sustainably and leaving it in an excellent position for the
future." The Schuler-Voith family had been associated with Leifheit since
1985, before selling its equity stake of around 50% in April 2015 as part
of the reorganisation of its investment portfolio.

In Sonja Wärntges, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of DIC Asset AG, and Ulli
Gritzuhn, CEO/Executive Vice President of Unilever DACH, the company has
appointed both a proven financial expert and an expert in the consumer
goods industry to the Supervisory Board. The new members of the panel will
present their candidacy at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of
Leifheit AG on 25 May.

Helmut Zahn resigned as Managing Director of Home Beteiligungen GmbH on
31 December 2015. Since then, he has continued in his role in the
Supervisory Board of Leifheit AG as an independent member. Zahn has been
chairman of the Supervisory Board since 2007.
