Team Tankers International Ltd. ("TEAM") announced today the appointment of Kevin Kilcullen as Chief Financial Officer of Team Tankers International effective February 22, 2016.
Kevin joins TEAM from the position of Chief Financial Officer of Principal Maritime in Southport, Connecticut. Principal owned and operated 16 vessels in the crude oil and chemicals transportation industry. Prior to joining Principal in 2012, Kevin was a Senior Vice President at Jefferies Capital Partners, an international private equity investment firm and was primarily responsible for investments in the maritime industry. Preceding that, he was an investment banker for three years at ING Barings. Mr. Kilcullen holds a B.A. in economics from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
Team Tankers International will be moving its' corporate and group reporting activities from Oslo, Norway to the Head Office in Westport, Connecticut USA.
Kevin succeeds Andreas Reklev, who will be leaving Team Tankers International following an agreed transition period. We would like to thank Andreas for his many contributions to TEAM, and notably the successful financial restructuring which was completed in January 2015.
