“The findings in this study show that there is a bond between the cartilage and the coating of the implant, a bond that may be permanent. This has not previously been shown and lends, in turn, support to the hypothesis that implantation of an Episealer® devise may stop, or significantly slow down, the process leading to osteoarthritis.
