Today, ENTA's Chief Executive Officer, Robert Glazer, announced the promotion of Drew Franklin to Senior Director of Business Development, effective March 7th, 2016.
Mr. Franklin, who has been with the Practice since 2006, and Director of Business Development and Revenue Strategies since 2011, is responsible for operational oversight of several different departments (among them Allergy, Audiology, Sleep and Clinical Trials) and works closely with the CEO and CFO on a multitude of critical Practice functions including revenue cycle optimization, due diligence and financial analysis for mergers and recruitment. In addition, he is directly responsible for payor contracting, business intelligence and productivity reporting. In total, he has 7 direct reports and accountability for over 200 of ENTA's 1000 non-physician employees.
Franklin is analytical by nature, and sees great value in the optimization of data and communication across different business landscapes, using technology as an enabler. He and his team of analysts promote physician and practice growth by providing benchmark metrics and encouraging goal-driven results. His contributions within the organization were among those that were instrumental in allowing ENTA to win the first HFMA MAP award for High Performance in Revenue Cycle issued to a Physician group in 2015.

Mr. Franklin is an Adjunct Professor at Pace University, Graduate Program for Public Administration, where he teaches Health Policy Studies and mentors graduate MPA candidates on networking & professional development.
Prior to joining ENT and Allergy Associates Franklin worked in the healthcare industry in both private practice and medical management consulting. Mr. Franklin is also a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces where he served for 2 years in combat as a staff sergeant in the 931st Division of the Nahal Brigade. He holds an M.B.A. from the NYU Stern School of Business and an undergraduate degree from Franklin &, Marshall College. He became a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) in 2010 when MGMA published his thesis on the Healthcare Delivery Model in the United States. In addition, he is a former board member of the Association of Otolaryngology Administrators.
