Eagle Recognized as a Great Place to Work(R) for Second Consecutive Year

OTTAWA, ON--(Marketwired - April 22, 2016) - Eagle Professional Resources (Eagle) is proud to announce that it has been named one of the year's Best Workplaces in Canada by Great Place to Work(R) for the second year in a row. The professional staffing company ranked #28, up from #43 last year, on the medium-size business list and Eagle was also the recipient of a Special Award in the Fairness Category. The Fairness Award recognizes six organizations that demonstrate excellence in their practices to treat people fairly. The list was published in a special report today in The Globe and Mail.

Eagle has placed a strong focus on workplace culture for many years. This focus has resulted in the ability to attract the industry's best and brightest employees and a high retention rate. This list of "Best Workplaces in Canada" is compiled by Great Place to Work^® Institute Canada. The competition process is based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from a 58-statement survey completed by a random selection of employees, along with their open-ended comments about their organization; the remaining one-third of the score comes from an in-depth review of the organization's culture, including an evaluation of HR policies and procedures. This offers a rigorous representation of the organization from an employee perspective, and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to the five trust-building dimensions of a great place to work^®: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. This year's list received over 300 nominations and over 60,000 employees participated in the 2016 "Best Workplaces in Canada" survey.
