Kirkwood US and MobiCard Inc. have entered into a Strategic Partnership and Technology License Agreement

WILMINGTON, Mass., May 04, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kirkwood (www.kirkwoodus.com) and MobiCard Inc., aka Peer to Peer Network (OTC Symbol: PTOP) (www.freemobicard.com), have executed a strategic partnership & technology license agreement to launch a Nationwide mobile business solution to small, medium and enterprise accounts.

The solution will be marketed as the KONNECT Card “K Card,” an interactive SaaS based scalable mobile business card software platform. Subscribers can create a customized mobile business card that connects the users contact info, digital, social and multi-media content. The card is sharable by SMS texting, social media and email channels, thereby accelerating user contacts and connections. Users are able to track card opens, views and third party sharing all while validating and analyzing new prospects and customer referrals in real time.

According to Statistics Brain, over 10 BILLION business cards are printed per year in the U.S yet 88% are thrown away within one week. Unlike paper business cards that can only be shared hand to hand and provide no data, the K Card can be shared by text, email and social media, and generates instant text alerts of new leads and referrals while providing robust database analytics.

Kirkwood is ranked as one of the top 100 Print media companies in North America and has experienced unparalleled growth in the past decade, realizing an increase in revenues from $8.5 million in 2004 to over $75 million in 2015. Kirkwood provides printing, brand management and direct marketing consultancy to some of the most recognized discerning companies, prestigious universities and institutions worldwide.

Will Winship, Chief Marketing Officer at Kirkwood said, “The K Card will revolutionize the notion of what a business card is meant to do, which is to make contact, and do it in a way that makes perfect business sense.”

“The average sales person cannot get in front of enough people in a given year to use up their business card supply,” noted Kevin Ruttan, head of Kirkwood’s Mobile Division. “With the KONNECT Card, a sales rep can reach out to someone through mobile in real time and share not only their contact information, but also distribute custom web, social and multi-media links in addition to a personal audio message."

Kirkwood plans to integrate K Card with its recently launched Mobile Publishing Platform that is both rich in features and provides monetization opportunities for Chambers of Commerce, Boards of Tourism, and Offices of Economic Development.  “We are in the very early stages of creating a comprehensive springboard for hyper local marketing and local mobile publishing,” noted Executive Vice President of Sales, Wayne Moda.  “Most native app development is upwards of six figures in terms of cost,” said Moda.  “With the announcement of our Mobile platforms, we are firmly positioned to extend the value proposition for our clients beyond traditional print-based products at a fraction of the cost of other mobile solutions in the marketplace.  We are truly building a bridge between print and digital, and enabling communities to become smart communities.”
