(NASDAQ:AQMS) (“Aqua Metals” or the “Company”), which is commercializing a non-polluting electrochemical lead recycling technology called AquaRefining™, will host a conference call on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. Pacific time (11:30 a.m. Eastern time) to discuss its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016.

This provides the Company with an additional five calendar days to file its Form 10-Q, and Aqua Metals expects to file its Form 10-Q prior to the expiration of the extension. The Company has chosen to extend its filing date to complete the financial statements and related disclosures, which could not be accomplished by the original filing date without incurring unreasonable effort and expense. Aqua Metals does not currently anticipate that its statement of operations for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016 will differ materially from its statements of operations previously filed with the SEC for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2015.
