Coherus Announces Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock


REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 23, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Coherus BioSciences, Inc. (Nasdaq:CHRS), a leading pure-play, global biosimilars company with late-stage clinical products, today announced it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 3,500,000 shares of its common stock. All of the shares of the common stock to be sold in the offering will be offered by Coherus. In addition, Coherus expects to grant the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 525,000 shares of its common stock at the public offering price, less the underwriting discount. The offering is subject to market conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.

Coherus intends to use the substantial majority of the net proceeds from this offering to fund manufacturing and related activities for late-stage products, and any remaining proceeds for working capital and other general corporate purposes.

Barclays will act as the sole book-running manager and underwriter for the offering.
