Cantargia receives Notice of Allowance from USPTO on IL1RAP in solid tumours

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) has issued a Notice of
Allowance for Cantargia’s patent application on IL1RAP as target molecule for
antibody therapy of several types of solid tumours.
The patent application, with application number 13/979,475 that has now received
a Notice of Allowance from the USPTO refers to a method for using IL1RAP as
target molecule for treatment of solid tumours. The patent covers treatment of
several different forms of solid tumours, including breast cancer, colorectal
cancer, lung cancer and malignant melanoma. The issuance of a Notice of
Allowance indicates that the USPTO intends to approve the company’s patent
application. Certain administrative steps remain before the patent is formally
granted.
