Kratos Awarded $22.3 Million Contract for Department of Defense Medical Records Support


SAN DIEGO, June 10, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that it was awarded a contract by the Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS) to support the Theater Medical Information Program - Joint (TMIP-J). The award includes a base contract plus five options.

TMIP-J, is a legacy medical records system for theater and shipboard medical records, which ensures that those records are loaded into the greater Defense Medical Records system. Working with its partner, Planned Systems International, Inc. (PSI), Kratos will continue integration activities to modernize, maintain and provide incremental updates to associated information technology applications.
