LOS ANGELES, June 22, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Reed's, Inc. (NYSE:REED), maker of the top-selling sodas in natural food stores nationwide, announced today a new distribution partnership with Dari Farms Distributors for the full line of Reed’s and Virgil’s brands throughout 7 counties in eastern Massachusetts including Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.  Dari Farms is headquartered in Tolland, Connecticut and has been a key distributor in the northeast region since 1972, providing service to all channels of distribution including grocery, convenience, drug, mass and independent markets.

Neal Cohane, SVP Sales & Marketing for Reed’s, Inc. commented, “In seeking a new distribution partner in this region, Dari Farms came highly recommended by the largest ACV supermarket players in the northeast. Dari Farms distributes some of the most popular brands in their category including POM Wonderful, Tropicana, and Naked Juice. Reed’s and Virgil’s can be found in more and more retail outlets in the northeast, and our new partnership with Dari Farms will only enhance our presence for future growth.”

About Dari Farms
Dari Farms Ice Cream Co. was incorporated in 1972, when Dave and Dennis Silva took over the distribution business from their father. Over the next 40+ years, the company formed strong distribution partnerships with ice cream banners such as Klondike, Popsicle, Haagen Dazs, and Ben & Jerry’s, while at the same time increasing its reach to service nearly every retail outlet throughout southern New England. By leveraging industry leading practices with a winning team atmosphere, the Dari Farms name soon became synonymous with excellent customer service and attention to detail.

In the early 2000’s, at the request of our customers, we added prepared and non-prepared frozen foods. Shortly thereafter, Dari Farms began carrying over 200 varieties of frozen pizzas, meals, and snacks. These offerings further evolved into refrigerated deli items such as packaged deli meats, cheeses, and yogurt.

As the marketplace continues to change, so does the range of products offered by Dari Farms. Today we’re proud to add a wide assortment of snack products to our ever growing portfolio. From ice cream to beverages & chips to snack cakes, whatever you’re craving, Dari Farms can provide the solution.
