TOANA, Va., July 12, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- C&F Financial Corporation (NASDAQ:CFFI), the one-bank holding company for C&F Bank, announced today that William Krebs, Stephanie Johnson and Lora Mintz will form the Bank’s new Charlottesville Commercial Banking team. William Krebs-Charlottesville Area Regional President, Stephanie Johnson-Portfolio Manager/Junior Lender and Lora Mintz-Commercial Support Specialist will join other members of the C&F Bank team in order to grow the Bank’s commercial and small business loan portfolios, as well as begin the process of expanding a retail presence in the market.

Krebs, who has been a commercial banker in the Charlottesville area for the past 20 years, has an extensive and highly successful background in the financial services industry, most recently serving as City Executive/Senior Vice President for Fulton Bank. He has served on numerous boards in Charlottesville, including the Charlottesville Day School, is highly active in the UVA Children’s Hospital and is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
Johnson, most recently serving as Portfolio Manager for Fulton Bank, worked with Krebs in Charlottesville. She is a graduate of the University of Richmond and has worked in the banking industry for the past five years.
Mintz, also from Fulton Bank, has been a commercial support specialist working with Krebs for the past 10 years and has been in the industry for 13 years, formerly as a paralegal.
The new team is located in offices on the 2nd Floor at 306 East Main Street in Charlottesville.
