Boyden Announces Placement of New Aerospace Corporation Chief Human Resources Officer

Top global executive search firm leverages its expertise in aerospace and defense


EL SEGUNDO, Calif. and WASHINGTON, July 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Boyden, a global leader in executive search with more than 70 offices in over 40 countries, today announced that Heather Laychak has joined The Aerospace Corporation of El Segundo, California as the new Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Boyden partnered with The Aerospace Corporation in recruiting Ms. Laychak.

Laychak comes to Aerospace from Mattel, where she was the Senior Director of Talent Management. Prior to Mattel, Laychak held multiple positions at Northrop Grumman, including director of Human Resources for the Space Systems Division, director of Organizational Effectiveness for the Aerospace Systems Sector, and Corporate Director of Talent Acquisition. Prior to Northrop Grumman, she served as vice president of Human Resources and dean for the School of Health Studies at Robert Morris University.

Laychak holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Loyola University. Laychak was a founding member of the American Red Cross, Auxiliary Board in Chicago, IL. She currently serves as a board member for the National Kidney Foundation Southern California Chapter.

Aerospace’s Human Resource department includes multiple offices: compensation and benefits, employee relations, employee services, talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, labor relations, and HR information systems.
