The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Drops Hip Hop Museum Benefit Album 'Peace, Love, Unity & Hip Hop' November 1st

The Museum Benefit Album has enlisted Hip Hop Legends & Icons, Independent, and Underground Artists on The Rise from around the World, The Freshman Class, Hip Hop Golden Age, and DJ’s including TeamBackPack’s Top 20 Cypher Finalists For The ‘Lets Build #OurHouse’ Campaign


NEW YORK, July 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Hip Hop Hall of Fame + Museum continues to expand its Multi-Media and Education Programming by heading back to its music roots. The HHHOF Music Division will kick-off its fall fundraising campaign by releasing a Hip Hop Music Compilation Album entitled 'Peace, Love, Unity & Hip Hop!' This is the fourth music project for the HHHOF dating back to the 1990s, and most recently with Mixtape music mixes by well-known radio Deejays. The first single entitled ‘Hip Hop Hall of Fame’ is a ‘Theme Song & Anthem’ that will be released in mid September to national radio stations, and deejays. This will coincide with the Hip Hop Hall of Fame’s ‘Let’s Build #OurHouse’ and ‘The Home of Hip Hop Music & Culture’ Campaign this fall-winter.

The Benefit Music Album Project has been in the works for months and has enlisted Hip Hop Legends & Icons, Independent and Underground Artists on The Rise from around the World, The Freshman Class, Hip Hop Golden Age, and DJ’s including HHHOF’s DJ Mell Starr 'No Headphones!' Other Artists being featured on the Album will include the top 20 finalists from TeamBackPack’s recent #MissionUnderground events.  The unique part about the project is that fans and lovers of hip hop music & culture will get to see these artists perform at the upcoming Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV Show Week of Events this November 11-18th, 2016 in NYC. The Hip Hop Hall of Fame Awards TV Show is set for Friday November 18, 2016 in New York City at The Palace Theater.

The Album is being Executive Produced by The HHHOF, TeamBackPack, and Hip Hop Global Media & Entertainment. Proceeds from the album will benefit three initiatives including the building & operation of The Hip Hop Hall of Fame + Museum Coming to NYC, The Hip Hop Arts Academy, a youth education program partner of the HHHOF, and The TeamBackPack Water Development Program, assisting India, Africa, and Developing countries, with our global partners Generosity.org and The Rockwell Foundation, in an effort to raise at least $21K to build 3 water wells all around the world. Every single one of these wells will be dedicated on behalf of hip-hop culture, showing that collectively hip-hop can make a difference in the world.  TBP is a hip hop music & culture movement, and entertainment hub for the global underground and independent hip-hop music artists founded by Dev Tejwani and Armani Cooper. The Official Hip Hop Hall of Fame + Museum & Entertainment Complex is also in the latter planning stages of its new State of the Art ‘Green Tech Building Design’ being developed on a site to be announced in Manhattan, which will include The Hall, Museum, Retail Gift Store, Official Merchandise, Arcade, Sports Bar, Restaurant, TV Studios, Educational Classrooms, and Concert Lounge producing 100 live events per year, facilitating an estimated 500,000 fans, visitors and tourists annually while serving another 30,000 NYC public school kids on educational field trips per year, and bringing a $350M socio-economic impact to the Tri-State area.
