WYOMISSING, Pa., Aug. 08, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PrecisionBI, a division of Meridian Medical Management, announced today it will unveil its new Accountable Care Organization (ACO) module for Allscripts TouchWorks™ Reporting clients at the Allscripts Client Experience (ACE), August 9-11 in Las Vegas, NV. PrecisionBI is a leading healthcare analytics engine used by over 50,000 physicians at some of the largest healthcare delivery systems and integrated delivery networks (IDNs) in the United States.
PrecisionBI has added quality metrics to its existing dashboard offerings, along with the current Meaningful Use (MU) and PCMH metrics. Through this unique offering, ACOs and physician practices will be able to monitor physician performance within patient populations. These major ACO reporting categories, inclusive of Preventative Health Screening, Follow-Up, and At-Risk Populations, will help provide valuable insight into clinical performance.
According to data provided by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for the Shared Savings Program (SSP), the Next Generation ACO Model, Pioneer ACO Model, and the Comprehensive ESRD Care Model, there are:
- Nearly 8.9 million beneficiaries served
- A total of 477 ACOs across SSP, Pioneer ACO Model, Next Generation ACO Model, and Comprehensive ESRD Care Model
- 64 ACOs are in a risk-bearing track including SSP, Next Generation ACO Model, Pioneer ACO Model, and Comprehensive ESRD Care Model
“These enhancements will allow physician practices and ACOs to visually track performance rates and compare providers within practices and across the ACO,” said Jaime Ojeda, GM and EVP for PrecisionBI. “This will heighten identification of where procedures and documentation improvements can be made to further enhance the quality care given to patients.”
TouchWorks™ Reporting clients will now be able to identify all eligible patients and collect the data in a customized Quality Reporting Database, where they can then visualize performance, customize the data and prepare it for CMS submission.
